About Me and My Passion for WiFI

For a lot of people, their passion is in the arts or music.

They spend a lot of time and effort in honing their skills and doing what they love most.

But for a few others, including myself, I am passionate about IEEE 802.11 and other wireless technologies.

It started a long time ago when a former employer and I have had the privilege to learn everything we need to know about the dos and don’ts in wireless designs and IEEE 802.11 protocols.

IEEE 802.11, one of the IEEE 802 Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) protocols developed by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineer (IEEE), was created to determine the media access control and physical layer protocols that are designed to implement a wireless local area network in these frequencies: 60 GHz, 6GHz, 5 GHz, and 2.4 GHz.

I have spent countless hours learning and mastering the protocols, allowing me to switch to being a Wireless Engineer at a company that specializes in wireless communication in the form of Wi-Fi and P2P connections.

Because of this, I have decided to set up this blog and have a platform for sharing my knowledge and skills on IEEE 802.11.

While you are here, Also check out the youtube channel The Wi-fi channel of my colleague Dennis Klein. A channel dedicated to helping out new and upcomingWi-Fi engineers. There's a lot of YouTube on Wi-Fi, but not enough Wi-Fi on YouTube.
